¡Juntos llevemos la santidad al cine!

Entre altares y montañas es una película de ficción histórica con estructura coral, basada en la vida de santos y beatos nacidos en Antioquia, Colombia. A través de una narrativa cronológica, seguimos las huellas de figuras como Santa Laura Montoya, el Beato Jesús Emilio Jaramillo, el Beato Mariano de Jesús Eusse, la Beata Berenice Duque, el Venerable Jesús Antonio Gómez, la Venerable Isabel Tejada, el Venerable Miguel Ángel Builes, y los Mártires Hospitalarios Colombianos.

Estos hombres y mujeres enfrentaron con valentía contextos de violencia, pobreza, marginación y persecución religiosa, convirtiéndose en faros de esperanza. La película busca visibilizar cómo, desde lo cotidiano y a veces lo invisible, se construye la verdadera santidad.

Con una puesta en escena sobria y estética, un enfoque emocional y una profunda fidelidad a los hechos, esta obra exalta el poder transformador de la fe y el testimonio en nuestra historia.

Es un homenaje al alma antioqueña y una invitación universal a creer que la santidad también puede surgir aquí, entre nuestras montañas.

¿Por qué lo hacemos?

Porque creemos que el cine puede ser un instrumento poderoso de evangelización, memoria y esperanza. Queremos llevar esta historia a salas de cine, nacionales e internacionales, así como a otras plataformas, medios de comunicación, canales y espacios donde pueda llegar a todas las audiencias.

Como dice el Evangelio:
"Nadie enciende una lámpara y la pone en sitio oculto, ni bajo el celemín, sino sobre el candelero, para que los que entren vean el resplandor." (Lucas 11, 33)

Deseamos que nuestros santos sean conocidos, amados e imitados. Que sus vidas —tantas veces olvidadas, incomprendidas o distorsionadas— sean redescubiertas como faros de luz para nuestro tiempo.

Creemos que esta película puede ser una herramienta de transformación cultural, capaz de tocar el corazón de los espectadores y sorprenderlos con la belleza de la santidad, una belleza real, cercana, profundamente humana y divina a la vez.

Por eso no podemos seguir manteniendo en el anonimato a nuestros santos. Es hora de poner su luz en alto, donde todos puedan verla.

Desde la creación de los trajes de época y la construcción de escenografías, hasta el transporte, la alimentación diaria del equipo y los honorarios dignos para todos los que hacen parte del rodaje.

Hacer cine no es solo grabar. Es cuidar a las personas que lo hacen posible.
Y esta película quiere hacerse bien. Con calidad, con belleza… y con responsabilidad.

Por eso, necesitamos reunir un total de 230.000 USD, que cubrirán todas las etapas: producción, rodaje, arte, postproducción y distribución.
